<I am desperately not trying to think that the pro-Israel bias may be affecting Mr.Buchanan's thinking on this matter...

It is no secret that Buchanan thinks we are overinvolved in foreign countries, and that our massive aid to Israel is a bad idea. Politically, he is probably correct. Unfortunately, he extends this to include massive restrictions on free trade with other countries, which would be a bad idea.

Be sure to read this post which also quotes Buchanan in an almost psychic scenario.
