This CNN article shows a couple stills from a video showing landing gear from some type of aircraft. I can tell you this for certain, that didn't come from a Blackhawk. For one thing, the Blackhawk doesn't have dual wheels on its gear. The video does show American placards on the parts and the wheels say "Made in the USA", so it doesn't appear they're trying to pass off old Soviet wreckage.
I examined the video feed from CNN's website. The first placard is very faded and hard to read, but it does say "California, USA". On the dual wheel assembly, the wheels appear to be pretty big, roughly knee high to the man standing behind it. The second placard shown read "Loud Engineering." I did a websearch on the company and they do make aerospace parts. Their website shows a CH-47 Chinook helicopter that _does_ have dual wheel assemblies up front. It appears likely to me that the dual wheel assembly came from a Chinook. It's possible the other wheels are also from a Chinook but I can't be certain. I couldn't get a good look at them, but it seems the strut mechanisms shown in the video for the single wheels don't match a Chinook. However, the video jumped around a lot so I could be wrong. They also showed a hook assembly designed to lift heavy loads, something a Chinook does very well.
As of right now, I'd bet the wreckage is bits and pieces from a Chinook, no way it's a Blackhawk. The question is, when did the Chinook go down. Chinooks have been used for almost 40 years around the world. Quite a few were lost in combat and accidents, so the wreckage could be recent or decades old. It could be from an American helicopter or one of the 800 used worldwide.
