I don't think so.
I have neither a platform upon which to stand, nor a voice loud enough to outshout idiots of any persuasion, including what ostensibly may be my own. But I will not be tarred with the same brush, nor will I 'convert' to Conservatism (or any other -ism) on the basis of a proselytizing appeal to be 'saved' from the evil ways of others into whose pigeonhole I'm being forced by the preacher in question. When expositors of any philosophical system - religious, political or economic - insist that they have the One Truth, it's called arrogance, no matter how couched in well-meaning but ultimately condescending concern.
I close my door politely but very firmly when it's knocked upon by Jehovah's Witnesses, too - same reason.
I have a brain and a vote, and I use them both.
