You and I agree.

It is too late for the worker/employer relationship to be based on 'fairness' or 'loyalty'. Those days are long gone. The worker needs the protection of the union these days and management positions are now targeted, as a result, in most larger companies.

The nice guy employer with a gold watch awai5ting your retirement is a vision of days past. No, today it is negotiations, strikes and 'workforce' reductions

I wish it weren't the case but I have seen both sides of this sword.
