Atrocities...

According to this BBC article, the Taliban has killed hundreds of people before leaving some cities. In another case, "Alliance forces are known to have killed at least 11 Taleban or foreign fighters in Kabul, some of whom had opened fire first, and some of the corpses were hung up and mutilated." Sorry, but if the enemy opens fire and gets killed, that isn't an atrocity.

Afghanistan has a long history of atrocities and today is no different. We might wish otherwise but that would be denying the reality of the situation. Neither side signed the Geneva Convention and neither side plays around with it comes to killing their enemies.
