There is no "left-wing conspiracy," in terms of an organized leftist movement in the media. However, almost everyone in the upper echelons of the mainstream media is at least liberal, if not outright leftist, so there is a certain "unity of thought" that requires no organized conspiracy to maintain. Anyone who thinks the mainstream media has any sort of objectivity in matters of liberal vs. conservative has either not been paying attention, or is hopelessly naive.
