It's similar to the spin put on the Highway of Death from the Gulf War. Colin Powell stopped the war mainly because of those images splashed all over the media.

Its amazing how quickly some members of the media change tactics, just like they did when it became blaringly obvious that the Gulf War would be a success.

Now we have gone from The Taliban are fierce and we will pay a bloody price, to the poor picked-on taliban getting shot in the back while retreating.

Of course their are always Dennis/Lindys "news" sites, that tell us every 3rd round is a dud, and that are spec.ops couldn't find their butts on a clear day. I'd be almost interested in seeing what Delindy's "news" sources are now saying. Almost.
