The abortion of a child is being done more often for specious reasons, and this is enthusiastically encouraged by the radical end of the "Pro-choice" movement. Some woman in Australia, with the encouragement of medical authorities, aborted one of her twins, not because of a medical problem, not because she was in danger, but because she just didn't feel like raising twins.
What in the hell is this creature going to tell her surviving child? "Boy, are you lucky, or what! Better not act up--we'd hate for you to become inconvenient around here."
When conservatives are concerned about these things (or other issues like euthanasia) reducing the value of life, they are scorned, laughed at, or subjected to other abuse. The "slippery slope" is real, and if you think it's bad now, wait until we enter the leftist paradise of government health care. Then we'll see what happens when people become inconvenient.
Rush Limbaugh coined the term "feminazi," which (according to him) has a single, specific meaning: a feminist with the overriding agenda of making sure abortions happen as often as possible.
A tip: if a pregnant woman is talking to a "pro-choice" feminist, and expresses a desire to have the child adopted, watch the reaction of the feminist. Many times, you can see exactly what a mislabeling the term "pro-choice" is.
For the record, I do not believe abortion should be made illegal. I also believe not one nickel of taxpayer money should fund it.
