The only central leadership for the Muslim community is in Islamic political leaders. Period.
* Not entirely, Dan. Seems that the Mullahs (such as Omar) at most Madrassas around the Islamic world are bypassing any political rules or government to make their statements based upon their beliefs: Taliban, Al Qaeda, Bin Laden = 911, etc.
Their word, *these Mullah figures* and their word alone, is to be considered holy and binding, and without that leadership, the individual Muslim, as well as Americanized Muslim communities, appear to be completely lost.
