You are a liberal and that is not the way you appear to think but let's say it is good definition of a cynical liberal.
Cynicism in a conservative would never include failure to see potential in the collective individual. I concede that some conservatives are cynical regarding the nature of certain individuals and they often fail to recognize noble intent by some idealistic liberals.
Some cynicism is justified and some is not.
