<Certainly when a liberal is reading the news you can often tell. Same when a conservative does so. It is not true that all news anchors are liberal.
Not all crows are black, either. Doesn't change the overwhelming bias. Before Fox News existed, I could count the major non-liberals on national TV news on one hand, one of the most prominent being ABC News' John Stossel.
The most interesting point in the book "Bias" was the fact that most liberal media people are convinced down to the marrow of their bones that their left-wing attitudes are, in fact, "moderate" and "middle-of-the-road." Most of them, asked if they were "liberal," would honestly answer no, despite the fact that all of their positions are liberal ones. I have noted in the past this amazing Mobius twist in the official media political spectrum, which has no left side, but only a middle and a right.
I think that conservatives labeling "consumer advocate" groups as liberal, says more about the conservative belief-system than it says about the news industry.
The behavior of the typical "consumer advocate" group has shown that many of them are a lot more interested in collapsing the capitalist system than they are in actually improving the lives of consumers. Or would I be stretching a point to be calling Ralph Nader, world's most prominent consumer advocate, a "liberal?" (Of course, in point of fact he's a screaming totalitarian socialist, but I'm trying to make a point.)
