During the investigation into and bail out of the S&L fiasco, it was Neil's father George who was President of the United States of America. Remember him?

It was he who created the RTC - the same RTC which slapped Neil on the wrist, naughty boy, the same RTC which let this same Neil repay his bad loans for pennies on the buck, and the same RTC which initiated the Whitewater investigation of Bill Clinton.

To tell the truth, I doubt I will read Bias. I don't doubt that it exists but I don't think bias alone is the real problem.

Y'know, most journalism majors are bound to be relatively liberal - it just goes with the territory, but I don't think it necessarily follows that these reporters are unable to maintain objectivity, which is kind of like a holy grail to many of the best of these types.

No, the real controlling force of the media runs through the purse strings, not the political persuasions of the personalities.
