<"It is in the interest of some of our politicians to create an electorate that is as stupid and butt-ignorant as possible so they will vote for them. Have you ever noticed how they always bend over backwards to accommodate the incapable, the illiterate, the uneducated, the unschooled illegal immigrant, and the downright dim? "
O.K., we now have an affirmitive statement from you on your view of the electorate, other than yourself and the other boys in the choir, of course.
I would suggest that educating these stupid and butt-ignorant electors would solve your problem. The way to eliminate the unschooled is simple---school them. Same process serves as the cure for the uneducated--educate them. Perhaps the incapable could be accommodated and made capable, surely you don't advise Hitler's solution to the deficient do you?
Be careful to keep you logic linear. I never said the entire electorate was stupid. I said that it was in the interest of some politicians to encourage the stupid ones to vote, and to generate as many stupid voters as possible.
As for schooling them: a great idea. First suggestion: get education out of the hands of the state and start moving it into the private sector where it belongs. As for deficient voters, we discussed the idea of some form of test for voting a few months back on this board. No real conclusions, but an interesting discussion was had by all. People have to take a test and get a license to style hair, but any boob is allowed to pick the people with their hands on the nuclear triggers.
The only suggestion for the problem of the illegal immigrant is to perhaps legalize him? What other solution did you have in mind?
Boot their sorry asses out of the country, and make them go through the right channels to get here. I'm getting tired of our nation being played for a sap by the government of Mexico, which has pretty much made the U.S. into the Mexican Welfare Program. Next question?
