...regarding the basic assumption that the US military would indeed shield their hardware from EMP pulses. You would think so, and I hope so, but I'm still puzzled and troubled as to how they would shield the electronics in the cockpit of
a F-16, F-18 jet for instance, since the glass-canopy would admit not only light but an EMP pulse as well.
