<I just don't trust Bush-Cheney regards oil and American foreign policy.
It's amazing that many people are terrified, and utterly convinced, that we will begin WW III over oil in the Middle East. Yet any attempt to drill for oil anywhere in the United States is received with vast hostility. By this I can only conclude that they value tundra over the human populations of the U.S. and Iraq. Of course, with environmentalists, this is hardly a surprise.
We need to start resurrecting the nuclear power industry, including breeders, using all the advances in nuclear technology and safety that are now available. If I were President, this would be a TOP priority.
I hear the Senate Democrats are uncorking a "renewable" energy program that should be interesting. Did you know that hydropower is no longer classed as "renewable" since it got on the environmentalist's shitlist?
