Re: Terrorism

As a matter of fact, one instance---and there are many--
You asked, >"If you have a case of an Israeli terrorist pre-1947 going deliberately into a store, a park, a school bus, or a church, filled with women, children, and other civilians, and blowing them up, please feel free to post a reference."

The fame and prestige of David Bengurian rested upon his planting a bomb in the King David hotel which killed innocent British tourists as well as Brit officials.

If you care to look up the Irgun and its activities you would find a very active and vicious terrorist organization that has evolved in today's Likud party.

>"If you have a case of current Israeli army troops moving into Palestinian territory, deliberately selecting as a target a store, a park, a school bus, or a church, filled with women, children, and other civilians, taking careful aim with their weapons, and blowing them up, please feel free to post a reference."

Consult the newspapers--you can find dozens of cases of Israel mounting "pre-emtive" bombing strikes into Lebanon. What they were bombing were Palestinian villages with schools, children, hospitals, etc.

Neither side is operating under a letter from God in this struggle. Until they tire of all the killing and decide they want peace, progress is probably not possible. Arafat is a very weak leader and lacks the strength to control the extreme elements of his party.
