<They bombed a major civilian hotel, even killing 15 Jews.
The hotel housed the Secretariat of the Government of Palestine and Headquarters of the British Forces in Palestine and Transjordan.
Most of the casualties were British Security Forces.
They bombed every available target.
Oh really? I didn't see any instances of bombing mosques, weddings, restaurants or market places populated exclusively with civilians.
Again they killed every appropriate person they could. They happened to have access to the military. The Palestinians kill military personnel when they can, too.
Oh please, they often pass military check points on the way to bomb civilians. If they are stopped then and only then will they waste their bomb on soldiers.
Now, what about the Israelis shooting that 12 y/o kid? Is that a game of Pollyanna? Do we slide by that? Do we think that's an isolated incident? Hell, there were foreign cameramen there, and they did it. What do you think they do when there aren't foreign cameramen around?
Indefensible, the shooter should be charged. In Israel there is at least a possibility that might happen and there is no chance they will celebrate the childs death. There is no doubt in my mind that the individual Israeli soldiers have committed attrocities. I seriously doubt they were sent out with orders to commit them.
No one is saying the Palistinians haven't suffered or that they don't have some right on their side but comparing the targeting of innocent civilians and the celebration of their death to the incidents that you linked is moral relativism at it's finest.
No one is saying that the Jews weren't ruthless or that they don't deserve some criticism. However, all of the incidents were directed toward military and/or political targets. Other casualties were collateral damage, an unfortunate military concept that you seem to have a problem grasping.
But, don't be embarrassed, you obviously mean well.
