Targeting civilians to the total exclusion of anything that meets the criteria of a military target, with zero chance of the individual act affecting the long term outcome is not freedom fighting to the sane among us.

Perhaps it would be accurate to say that one man's terrorist is some sick dog's freedom fighter. The sick dogs of the world may adopt your "axiom" but there are lots of us that will not agree that they have the right to be called men.
