I've been to a couple of county fairs, gigged a few frogs, DROVE the turnip truck (actually, sugar beet), and have received scars or broken bones on most of the contintents. I've never found anywhere else where people would blatantly deny obvious facts or refuse to agree to acknowledge a demonstrated truth anywhere else just because they perceived a "liberal". Even drunk. Took me completely by surprise.
If you find that common, you've been hanging around people I haven't, but I'll be damned if I know where you found 'em.
On the other hand, the overall sense of decency, except for a few, is absolutely refreshing and what makes this place great.
