Extermination policies are notorious for backfiring. In this region there is no rhyme or reason to half of the military actions - and executions. It makes the US troops in Afghanistan look like models of restraint and diplomacy.

It is because of this indiscriminate usage of force that Sharon has expelled the media, who are very unhappy he is depriving them of their livelihood.

If US troops stun gassed international media reporters - we would never hear the end of it! However, the cloak of media darkness, free of pesky cameras is always best if one goes around murdering men, women and children for political expediency.
