<<They pro0bably capped them in cold blood but such is the fate of a soldier.>
I didn't say who said that, and here are the words.
First, they may have been wearing uniforms, 5 different ones.
Second, they may have been policemen, there are no "soldiers" in Palestine, though the Israelis try to call them that to salve their consciences. There is some justification for having "security" forces around the Chief Executive of the area.
Third, no civilized society condones the execution of helpless people in this manner. No decent person can hear of it without being offended. If your statement doesn't indicate you tolerate such executions, I don't understand English. What would you have said if those had been Israeli soldiers lined up against the wall and shot? There are no weapons visible, and I suspect if they were using any the Israelis would have left them for the picture. It looks as if they had surrendered, and were standing against the wall.
Fourth, let's assume they weren't executed. Your statement indicates you don't care if they were executed or not. What does that say about your view of the situation over there? Is there any chance the Palestinians would get a fair hearing from you?
Fifth, since I didn't use a name, why didn't you just let it drop? That statement doesn't say much nice about the person making it.
