People on both sides of an issue latch on to certain truths (ie. the destruction of Pal settlements followed by Israeli settlement). Based on a single or small set of truths they extrapolate that all the bad things said are true. Did some Israeli soldier do his business on a hospital floor? Could be, but the implication is that a regiment pooped the floor.

I don't care much for either side of this issue but the struggle to ascribe any level of decency or nobility to Islamic radicals gets almost comical.

It is the same for the environuts, animal rights radicals and extremists representing any issue.

Radicalism is a blight on humanity and we seem to be in a time when it is excused and even encouraged.
