An unverified claim. “All the time”? Maybe that was just an exaggeration.

Still doesn't make it right, though, and I'm pretty sure that Tom's rants that are indeed unverified don't end up as major-media news sources -- any more than mine would.

The argument here is that the good sister should report verified facts, not rumors. Barring this, she should just keep her holy trap shut.
