This is clearly the only way to prevent terrorist attacks from forever plaguing Israel. And by pulling back the army from hard to defend settlements it could use those forces to better defend the vast majority of Israelis.

The Palestinians would have a state today were it not for cowardly leadership and unrelenting terrorism. Build the wall, stop 99% of the terrorists, and end the whole victim mentality the Palestinians don't want to let go of. If it becomes a situation like Lebanon and rockets are fired across the border, a few air strikes on Arafat's compound might help alleviate that problem.
