I have found many references to Israeli helicopter attacks on various military facilities and buildings known to house targeted terrorist leaders. I have also found references to noncombatant Palestinian bystanders being killed in this process, including children. This is nothing to be happy about.
I have found no references to any deliberate Israeli helicopter attacks on civilian housing KNOWN by the attackers at the time to contain only civilians and absolutely no military or terrorist targets. I have found no references to deliberate helicopter attacks on stores, shops, ice cream parlors, churches, ballrooms, or pool halls.
My research was broad, but not all-inclusive. I would appreciate being clued in if you know different.
Intent means something.
If a cop shoots at a bad guy and misses him, hitting a kid, it is tragic. And it is a totally different moral situation than if that cop hid behind a tree, waited for a kid to go by, and drilled him through the head.
