What religious zealot feels the slightest resentment toward holy leaders who hand them redemption, and a one-way ticket to paradise?
If you were far more religious, far more ignorant in the ways of the world, and far more destitute than you currently are (and had been all of these your entire life), you just might understand. Of course then there would be nothing to understand, for you would possibly be one of them -- and there would be no question.
