This is how mobs start. The KKK said all the same things about blacks, Hitler said it about the Jews, etc, etc.

You could take a deep breath and calm down, little fella. It was a Muslim government we installed in Afghanistan, or do you think GWB was unaware of that?

The Muslim government of Saudi Arabia has helped stabilize the price of oil for years, to our benefit. And, paid more to fight the Russians in Afghanistan than did the US.

Even after all my experience here, I'm a little surprised by the tolerance for very thinly disguised bigotry on these boards. Change the names, and these folks can sound as grim as any bigot anywhere. It isn't pretty, no matter where it is.

When your enemy has brought you down to his level, he's won. Maybe not physically, but psychologically.

And the term "Islamist" should be used as carefully as "Christianist".
