Like the Islamists, the communists adhered to an extremist ideology, were totalitarian in practice in nations under their control, and were committed to ultimately achieve world domination, but nonetheless they were also...RATIONAL human beings.
Never heard of a communist who thought is served any purpose to go blow himself to pieces next to a dozen capitalists...
