"If not being a totalitarian Big Brother state means losing a building and some people to random acts of violence now and then, well, I would have to say so be it. We'll get the bastards who did it eventually. And it should be remembered that a hell of a lot of other people have lost their lives over the years in many different ways to protect our freedoms."

The thing I'm worried about is a terrorist attack with nuclear/ biological/ chemical weapons. They'd do it if they could. If they haven't tried already they surely will. I believe we can maintain our freedoms in the face of this threat but we have to ensure our children are safe. I say if a guy is a friend of a friend of a suspected terrorist put him under 24 hour surveilance.
