<They’ve decided to call him an “enemy combatant”, though there’s no evidence cited he belonged to an enemy army, or was a combatant.
The al-Qui’da is an “enemy army.”
Being a member of the al-Qui’da and planning the deaths of hundreds, possibly thousands, of US citizens in our nation’s capital is a combatant strategy of the al-Qui’da, one which apparently was to be carried out, with the evidence of such being al Mujahir’s presence predicted to be on a flight from Pakistan to O’Hare.
None of this, of course, could ever amount to anything so horrible as -- charges -- right...? Regardless of the amount of evidence to the fact Mujahir himself had on his person when he was picked up that agreed in every detail with what Zubaydah had told them -- so this must have been some convenient device set up by that nasty ol’ government of ours.
This is the stuff we used to read about happening in the USSR, not the US.
One day you’ll have to let us all in on how unfair Mafia trials and negotiations with mob-informants are.
Life is still a bitch, B -- and it still ain’t fair.
Kinda sad the press cannot seem to bring themselves to refer to Mujahir by his chosen name. Thought we were all supposed to be Islamic-sensitive in the good ol’ U.S. of A. Well, they’ll probably PC it all up later to make it look nice for the history books.
