History reveals...

...that the Saudis were dead set against the formation of a jewish state in the region.

In my collection of LIFE magazines which chronicle the weekly events of this occurence one issue comes to mind prominently in which the then Saudi King is asked his opinion by an journalist about the idea of a Jewish state and he responds with a long letter to the effect that it is a foolish idea and one which will lead to much violence and instability in the region.

Sadly, he was right.

However, the rest of the world was only too happy to support a jewish state - in hopes that it would attract many jews to leave their nations.

So the world is complicit in this failed nation-building project which has lead to permanent instability in this region and a decay of much of the progress we had made westernizing these states in the first part of the twentieth century.

Indeed hatred of America in these regions really only fostered when we began to support Israel with sales of our advanced military weapons.

In 1940 no one in the region gave a rats rear about America. Khomeni, the hostage crisis, the oil embargos - the energy crisis and god knows what else all can be linked to this bi-polar disorder of the USA which is both anti-semitic and pro-zionist simultaneously.

Had we not supplied them with weapons their would have been another exodus and all the nations would have to re-assimilate many jews. This was an anathema to many governments, including the US, and so it seemed cheaper and easier to ship some tanks, planes and guns to them and take their money at the same time although this soon changed as we were told we needed to send much money to keep the nation viable.

A really intelligent leadership would've placed a Jewish state in south America - where anti-semitism is almost unknown. We had the Panama Canal zone and probably could've dealt with France for purchasing French Guiana. (It would've been FAR cheaper in the long haul) This probably would have led to an eventual paradise-type jewish state instead of the live-in-fear police state it is now.

But that wasn't what the jewish leadership wanted, and expediency and that foolish term, used by those who live in the past, "tradition" has led to countless deaths, hatred beyond all possible comprehension and enough anger and bile to toxic-shock all the cows in the world.

The future is such that we can keep the stalemate of hate going for another 20 years - tops - at which point enough nuclear technology will be all around these regions, and the world, to lead to an inevitable nuking of Israel and much of the arab world.

Sadly, that is the destiny of Israel and of the arabs. When its finally come to fruition the ragtag remnants will begin anew - and due to their unfathomable ignorance will probably still try to create a nation in that irradiated waste...and the hatred will cycle all over again with Jews incarnating into the Arab leadership and Arabs as Jews. (Yes I know...Blasphemy!)

To say they deserve each other would be to point out the obvious. Since religious fanaticism and living in denial of the way the universe operates - is the cornerstone of all their problems. Their "God" gave them life and will just as surely kill them, torture them with trials unenvied by Job, and create a nation whose residents live in perpetual fear.

The US and the world's bi-polar relationship with jews is equally guilty of letting this occur. Unfortunately, religion and politics are terrible bedfellows and rationality is absent from such negotiations.
