The never ending hypocrisy

For a civil society to exist there MUST be a veil of privacy on public people's lives. This fact was recognized by all political parties AND news agencies for decades. The GOP hate-crusade against Bill Clinton changed all of that. Frustrated after spending 6 years and millions of taxpayers' dollars and still being unable to find ANY wrong-doing by Clinton in any of the countless investigations into legal wrongdoing, they crossed the line and (through illegal tactics) went after his private life. This crossing the line is the issue. I'm not saying Clinton was acting "morally" or with "integrity." I'm saying the GOP changed the rules of the game and thus it is now open season on any politician's private life. Your "outrage" over Bush's DUI info being released is pathetic in light of what the GOP did.
