On that note, the Islamic predlection for suicide is a common thread throughout their long history. The Moros of Mindinao (the Philippines anyway) were noted for their yorgamantando, in which they wrapped themselves tightly in swaths of cloth and charged American soldiers with only a sword. Tha Japanese Banzai is very similar. But the Islam twist was to kill an infidel and recieve great rewards from Allah.
