A job, health care, and a place to live are rights?
How is that? A right is something that is inalienable and timeless, something that is a part of you and that can't be taken away. The right to think freely, the right to speak your thoughts, and the right of self defense. Everything else is peripheral. If a job, health care, and a house are rights, then our prehistoric ancestors must have been very oppressed indeed. For they had no jobs, no medicine, and no houses. With that logic, my parents were oppressed because MRI's and laser surgery weren't available to them until recently. Technological goodies are not a right.
