Hmmm.

Let's see... shooting daily at planes that are enforcing a UN resolution isn't a provocative and hostile act?

My goodness, Saddam makes Milosevic look like a disobedient school boy, and we went after him with both guns blazing for the Europeans. We had not one iota of self-interest in that escapade. We were helping the "persecuted muslims" who were being ethnic cleansed.

Look how the good muslims reward our efforts?

As more and more data gets out...it looks more and more like those cleansed did indeed have ties to active terrorist cells and other evil folks.

We didn't deserve 9-11 but the Yugoslavia misadventure put a little dark hat on the US as we meddled in an age old religious feud, and helped make 9-11 possible. We obviously had to come face to face with some of the planet's lowest ignorance and barbarism so as to see things in better perspective.

We invaded Germany, killed hundreds of thousands of civilian Germans with FAR LESS provocation than Saddam has given the US over the past ten years!

The fact that our superior technology and Iraq's fear of using radar have helped the US avoid more casualties under all these attacks does not diminish the daily acts of war and provocation, Saddam engages in daily.
