Easy, steady, Big Fellow.

I believe my post was made yesterday, when the news was reporting Kofi Annan as saying “unconditional inspections”. The ROW was responding to "unconditional inspections".

Today there is new information. That changes things.

One thing the conservatives specialize in on this board is the cheap shot. Yours is a cheap shot, and typical.

(One of the liberals who shall remain nameless but whose initial is “B” does the same thing.)

For the record, NOTHING will satisfy Bush EXCEPT what gets his hands on Iraqi oil. Doesn't care about inspections of any kind, disarmament is only important if it makes invasion easier.

Saddam will move as far as he must to keep the UN Security Council from sanctioning Bush grabbing the oil.

Much of the “movement” has been toward the UN. For instance, the Saudis said they would have to go along with the UN using their bases, not the US.

Bush, you can bet, has promised the Russians more than they would make trading with Iraq, as well as France. We know he promised Turkey $5 billion. The joke is that it will all come out of Iraqi oil.

So, my friend, they print papers every single day. Why, you ask? Because conditions change, views change, the world changes.

Only fools run around screaming “but you said” when things materially change. Remember when they were saying 11,000 died in the WTC, and now the figures are down to 3,022, or something very close to that. Same thing. Only you'd be running around hollering, "But you said 11,000!!! Lying sacks of manure, you said 11,000!"

It’s scary, but it is a changing world.
