The threat, not your head. It's a good plan, but it won't work. It would be like a lone cop arresting a full-blown riot.
Lotsa inspections, rapid inspections, brooking no BS. If there is too much resistance about a site, it will be demolished by air no sooner than 6 and no later than 12 hours away. "Attention -- This site is surrounded now, and only people will be allowed to leave before the demolition begins. You have only 6 guaranteed hours to leave."
That would work.
You don’t recognize this as a hostile invasion of another’s land and resources?
You assume, because you very clearly state “That would work.” that none of the workers at the supposed plant would try to defend their work place, their source for daily bread?
“... brooking no BS.” That’s funny.
You assume that Iraq would allow a U.S.-led coalition (no other coalition would touch it) to just waltz in and start tearing things down?
None of the above can be done without clout, B, and that clout comes, not from empty words and false posturing, but from solid, resolute action. We can put up the front, that’s not the problem, but we also need it backed with determination, and the sure knowledge that, if it goes sour, we move in with force, and we take lives.
Your suggestion is merely a shaded invasion, but you can’t see that because you’re not looking at it. You’re just playing mouthpiece. Look around and see what’s backing your o, so terrifying ultimatum. A U.S.-led military strike.
