<Lotsa inspections, rapid inspections, brooking no BS. If there is too much resistance about a site, it will be demolished by air no sooner than 6 and no later than 12 hours away. "Attention -- This site is surrounded now, and only people will be allowed to leave before the demolishion begins. You have only 6 guaranteed hours to leave."
Okay, and assuming that the Iraqis resist this "demolition" by military force--and they will--and assuming we destroy any weapons and military stuff we discover, in what way does this tactic differ from a standard military attack?
The sad truth is the only way to strip Iraq of its weapons programs is to subdue the country first, destroy the military ability to resist, and remove its leadership. Even after the resistance is eliminated, it may still take many months to uncover what are no doubt thoroughly concealed WMD facilities. Screw the oil. If we had wanted it that badly we'd have kept the oil the first time we beat the crap out of them.
