Florida was also about scrapping election laws on recounts and time limits for the convenience of the Democrats.
Come on, Mary Anne. Torricelli was hauled out feet first by the Democratic Party, who left fingernail furrows in the sidewalk outside. His angry farewell speech was not only to the general public, but to the Democrats for their backstabbing after all he had contributed to the party.
The Democrats were supporting Torricelli until the legal albatross around his neck started showing up to the voters. They saw Torricelli falling in the polls and their chances of holding the Senate fading, gave him the bum's rush, and are now trying to pull a fast one.
This stinks and you know it.
