Knock knock. Anybody in there?

<Help me understand how the US slaughter of civilians in Afghanistan is different than the Israeli slaughter of civilians in Palestine or the Palestinian slaughter of civilians in Israel or the Iraqi slaughter of Kurds?

It makes a difference if you are doing it on purpose.

A sniper shooting at a kid in a schoolyard is not the equivalent of a kid being shot in a hunting accident.

--The Americans did not specifically target civilians in Afghanistan.

--The Palestinians are killing civilians with shrapnel bombs deliberately delivered to civilian locations with no other purpose except to kill civilians.

--The Iraqis used gas to deliberately annihilate the Kurds.

--The Israelis have not deliberately targeted civilians, although as I'm sure you and Dan would agree, a case can indeed be made that they are getting close to the line with their carelessness, if they have not actually crossed it. The point is, a line can be drawn.

A kindergartener would understand the obvious distinction. The fact that I can't pound it into some brains does not speak well for their levels of intellect.
