I don't think you really want to talk about the Dow!!
I don't know where or when I would have said anything about Bush and the dock strikes. Don't have an opinion on it. I know something about that beyond the press' insisting it's featherbedding, but both sides have a good point. The PMA probably the better one.
However, invoking Taft-Hartley ain't dealing with the issue, it's putting it off, running from it, it you will.
I'd be curious to know what you think I said about the docks.
And, a whole series of tax cuts, a few bones for the poorer people while saving the steaks for the wealthy and wealthier ain't my idea of having a concern for the economy.
And piling on a war on top of that, in order to exact "reparations" from a population which ain't hurting us, well, that's reprehensible. I'm sure you can see that.
As far as I can see, the guy is hell-bent on wrecking the economy. Spend and borrow. And borrow some more, then spend. Not exactly fiscally responsible.
(Here's where you drag in Clinton.) I'll leave a space.
From my narrow point of view I don't give a rip. For the vast, vast majority of Americans, I wish he wouldn't.
I really do. I wish he wouldn't wreck the economy, except that it will have Americans praying for 2004.
