If it takes the average Democrat 24 hours to figure out what someone is saying -- then it's probably not very clear, is it?
First impressions, though, remain lasting ones. The page cited very clearly stated:
"Send A Student To Minnesota!
[ ... ]
Together with YDS, DSA’s Youth Section, we are mobilizing to bring young people to Minnesota.
[ ... ]
Wellstone will need a high percentage of young people to register and vote for him if he is to stave off the campaign that Bush, the Republicans and the Greens are waging against him."
There was no mention of registering in the state as a student, merely as a same-day registrant voter.
And if it was all so clean and clear yesterday -- why is the page now deleted? It was the one Tom had linked to here, under the words "pretend to be a resident."
Maybe it's just a need to argue with anyone about anything?
Dunno. The ploy was illegal, and that's no stretch. The page was removed before the crime could reach fruition, and this is a good thing.
