Honestly, I don't understand how it is so "easy" to cheat.
I'm only familiar with CA's way of doing things, of course. But for me to vote, they look up my name and address in a ledger and cross it off. Why is this so dangerous a system?
I guess there are ways to subvert it, but heck: there are ways to rob banks, even with really extensive precautions.
No amount of additional hoops to jump thru will make it impossible to cheat at the polls. Every additional hoop to jump through, *discourages people from voting*.
