I laid it out, what's hard to believe?
The environmental radicals may be in the numerical minority, but in large organizations like Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, and others, they are currently in the driver's seat and setting policies. The radical anti-Western and anti-technology leftist elements are running the show, and the reasonable ones who, like you say, want to see some kind of reasonable interaction between humans, technology, and nature, were squeezed out.
Their policy is no longer making sure that human activity does no damage. Their policy is now that humanity shall not do anything to modify nature. Period. End of story. I've given the evidence for this, if you don't want to believe it, fine.
