Democrats and leftists get by with a hell of a lot of stuff that they howl bloody murder about when a Republican or conservative does it. "Hymietown" Jackson, for one, should keep his mouth shut. And "white nigger" Byrd, who was supporting the Klan when Thurmond was a Presidential candidate, doesn't get as much flak as you would expect either. And Al Sharpton, famous for his anti-Jewishness, is chiming in on this too. All we need now is "Jew bastard" Hillary putting her two cents worth in.

And all Lott said was that the country would have been better off if Thurmond had been President. I don't agree with him, but that doesn't make him a stone racist either. He didn't say "If only Thurmond had been President, we could have sent all the blacks back to Africa," did he?

IMO there are plenty of better reasons to kick Lott out of his leadership position, but this is just plain silly.
