I don't think this is completely silly, but over-blown, like Lott's hair is over-gooed.

But we're letting down the troops, Tom. They expect to see White (me) fighting the Forces of Darkness (you), or the Savior (you) slaying the debbil (me). We've trained them that way.

(Really, what they've gotten is one old gray steed in a tug-of-war with a younger gray horse. I'm not "white", I don't think, and I know your ideas aren't.)
