Democrats are immune to this, at least insofar as getting the kind of universal derision that Republicans do. Byrd, Hollings, and others have been outed on this stuff for years, and what damage has been done?
I'm sure the call has gone out from the DNC on the new target, Frist. I expect Frist's closet skeletons to start hitting the mainstream media before Christmas, although they may wait until he is actually elected and in place for maximum damage. Imagine how cool it would be for the Democrats if they could wipe out two Majority Leaders in a row.
I myself know next to nothing about Frist or his policies yet, so don't know where we go from here.
