P.S.

<Now, what about that double taxation? Why is it unfair double taxation on dividends, but just dandy on wages through the sales taxes, property taxes, excise taxes?

Taxes on dividends are taxing income twice--AS income, and by the same agency. Sales taxes, property taxes, and the like are not income taxes. I get taxed by California on the same income as Uncle Sam taxes me, but those are two separate entities, and what I pay to California is deductible on my Federal taxable income.

Hey, when you start getting rid of some of these other taxes, I'll sign up.

I haven't seen any conservatives complain about that. Maybe it's because wage-earners aren't wealthy, as a rule?

If you haven't heard conservatives and others complaining about being taxed every which way but loose, you haven't been listening very hard. All those taxes eat away at productivity, but you have to start somewhere.
