With two kids, and me doing most of the cooking, we hit the fast food joints a lot more than we should, both for health and financial reasons. I don't even like fast food that much--when I was living in a room during a summer at college with no kitchen privileges, I ate at the local Burger King. Every night. All summer.

The other problem is that there aren't that many home cooked foods that my kids like as well as the grownups do. They would eat spaghetti every day given a choice. I can't get them to eat any kind of fish except fish sticks, which I hate. I could list our entire menu on an index card. Sigh.
