<Clinton was an outstanding president regarding world affairs and America was both respected and admired internationally under his administration. Bush would be hard pressed to say the same.

Judging by the Europeans who have been bemoaning Bush's attitude vs. Clinton's, you have a point. Of course, being "admired" is easy. It just takes a massive amount of ass-kissing. I can certainly see where Clinton was a lot better at it than Bush. As for being respected, you might want to look a bit deeper. The "admiration" directed at Clinton by many European leaders had a lot of contempt behind it--the kind of contempt one sleazebag reserves for another, knowing that this is exactly the kind of person they can deal and get along with.
